Access-ABLE at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine provides a community and support to medical students who are trying to navigate medical school with a disability/chronic illness. We welcome participation from all interested JHSOM students, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other identity.

The Disabled Student Community Outreach (DiSCO) Council is a student-led initiative supported by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI). DiSCO aims to create a unified sense of community for Disabled students at Johns Hopkins by raising awareness of and advocating for the Disabled student experience. DiSCO is designed to cultivate dialogue across students, faculty, and staff, enhance student engagement with campus and community events, and reinforce self-acceptance and Disability Pride. Equal Access in Science & Medicine (EASM) is a student-led organization for trainees with disabilities, chronic illnesses and mental health conditions at the Johns Hopkins University E. Baltimore Campus.

Learning Capabilities Personified Cooperative (L-CAP) seeks to aid in the educational and professional development of Johns Hopkins School of Nursing students by offering educational and professional resources and skill-learning, mentorship, community involvement, and leadership opportunities throughout the academic year.
