Dayna Geary (she/her/hers) is Assistant Director for Student Disability Services at Johns Hopkins University on the Homewood campus where she works with undergraduate students in KSAS and WSE. She has over ten years of experience working in disability services and student support, including direct service to underserved student populations through federal TRIO programs, academic tutoring, and clinical mental health counseling. Dayna’s educational background is in counseling and human services. Her professional interests include the social justice model of disability, intersectionality and Universal Design. Dayna also serves as the School Coordinator for the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP), a federal program that helps students with disabilities land federal employment and internships. In her free time, Dayna enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, reading, and watching shows about food and traveling.
