SDS Newsletter: Breaking Down Barriers

The mission of Breaking Down Barriers is to raise awareness about disability, accessibility, and inclusion by increasing and coordinating communication with students, faculty, and staff. By sharing relevant initiatives at SDS and across Hopkins, we aim to ensure information is accurate as well as timely. We also hope to increase engagement and transparency.

To subscribe to the SDS Newsletter emailing list, send an email to [email protected] and type the following command in the message body: invite [email protected] emailaddress (example: invite [email protected] john.doe(@)fai.com)

Remove animations using the Accessibility View.

Customize your experience by using the menu options to, from the standard view, use the settings (gear icon) to change the layout of the newsletter, or turn off animations; or, from either view, use “More Sway Options” (the three dots icon) to export the newsletter to Word or PDF, or try out the high contrast and low animation view. The icon found at the bottom right of the standard view is the Navigation view, which functions like a table of contents.
